Why We Built This Site
Alabama warrant information can be difficult to trace because courts, sheriffs, municipal police, and state systems each have a different role. AOC’s E-Warrants / Warrant Management System is an internal Unified Judicial System application; the reviewed public materials do not identify a public WMS search or confirm which local warrants are included. ALEA’s public Fugitive Search is a separate, limited channel, not a complete warrant index. The court that issued a warrant controls its case record and later orders, while the sheriff or other assigned agency can confirm local service status. A city matter may remain with Municipal Court rather than appearing in a county sheriff list. This hub lays out the state-level machinery, then routes readers to the county court and sheriff resources where an official answer can be confirmed. A missing result from a public list does not establish that no warrant exists.
What You Will Find Here
- Finding an official starting point: the Warrant Lookup guide explains the public channels that are available and their limits
- Public lists: the Outstanding Warrants page distinguishes local lists from ALEA’s limited fugitive search
- Missed court dates: the Bench Warrant Search page explains why checks begin with the court that set the case, including a municipal court for city matters
- Charge-based process: the Arrest Warrant Search guide explains court issuance and local confirmation
- State technology: the Warrant System page describes AOC’s internal WMS and ALEA’s distinct role
- Local destinations: the County Directory links to each county’s court and sheriff resources
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not an Alabama court, sheriff’s office, or state agency. Its role is limited to explaining public channels and pointing readers toward official record holders. We cannot:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
The issuing court controls the case docket and warrant orders. The sheriff or other assigned agency can confirm its service record. Use the county directory to identify local offices; a state or public-list result is not a substitute for their confirmation.
Search Partners
Some pages may offer search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their own products, prices, and results. If a visitor reaches a paid service through one of these tools, this site may receive a referral fee. The provider’s results are not an official Alabama warrant check, and the site does not control how that service works.
