This policy describes information that may be received or collected when you browse Alabama Warrant Records, along with how the site uses it. Any outside search provider follows its own privacy rules, which should be read before using that service.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

If you enter a name or birth date into a search tool on this site, the query is sent to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the request and returns its result; this site does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

We retain messages sent to us so that we can respond and manage the request. The message is handled within our organization and is not shared outside it unless law requires disclosure.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, our servers may record technical details about the visit, such as:

  • When each page was viewed
  • Your browser and its version
  • The pages opened and the time spent on them
  • Your device’s IP address
  • The site that referred you, if there was one
  • Your device type and operating system

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies, small files held by your browser, to understand general site use, including which pages draw visits and where browsing ends. Analytics services may combine traffic information for that purpose. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may then work differently.

What We Do With This Data

  • Finding and correcting technical problems
  • Sending a search request to the service that operates the tool
  • Keeping pages available and responsive
  • Measuring which content visitors use
  • Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests

No Warrant Data on File

This site does not keep, assemble, or sell a warrant database or individual warrant records. Alabama warrant records are held by the issuing court and may also involve the sheriff or other agency assigned to serve the process. The Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code § 36-12-40, governs access to public writings held by government offices, subject to exceptions. Court-record access is also subject to Alabama’s Rules on Privacy and Confidentiality of Court Records, effective January 1, 2025; those rules do not create, expand, or restrict the preexisting right of access. Neither source makes every warrant record public or creates a statewide public warrant search. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or records about other people.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Any information submitted there is handled under the provider’s policy rather than this one. Each provider determines how long to retain data and whether to share it. Review those terms before entering a query.

Links to Other Websites

Links on this site may lead to court portals, county sheriff pages, legal-help organizations, state resources, or search providers. Once you leave, the destination’s privacy terms apply, so check them before sharing personal details. Public access to Alabama court records is governed by applicable law and court rules, including the Alabama Rules on Privacy and Confidentiality of Court Records effective January 1, 2025.

Some advertising partners may use their own systems to track browsing across websites and select ads. We do not run that tracking.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by:

  • Government or law-enforcement agencies when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
  • Analytics providers that measure traffic and site performance
  • Search providers that receive queries submitted through their tools
  • Advertising networks whose ads appear on the site

How We Protect Your Data

We use customary safeguards for information collected through the site. Internet systems cannot be made entirely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

Users Under 18

This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal details from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

Your Data Rights

The Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code § 36-12-40, concerns public writings held by government offices; it does not govern data held by this private site. We do not claim that a general Alabama privacy statute grants the requests below as statutory rights. As a site practice, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate
  • Delete information where we are able to do so
  • Stop certain forms of data processing
