NO FCRA USE. Alabama Warrant Records is privately run and is not connected with a government body, court, or law-enforcement office. Neither this site nor advertising partners provide services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This site offers civic information about Alabama warrant records and resources. It is not a private investigation service or a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is an independent reference site, not a government office, court, or sheriff. It does not store official warrant records or make official checks, recall orders, bond payments, or court filings for visitors.
Its purpose is to explain Alabama’s court and law-enforcement roles and direct readers to official record holders. AOC’s E-Warrants / Warrant Management System (WMS) is an internal Unified Judicial System application; no public all-warrant query was identified. ALEA’s public Fugitive Search is a separate limited channel. The issuing court and the assigned sheriff or other law-enforcement agency remain the official sources for a case and its service status.
2. Informational Use Only
All material is general information about Alabama warrant processes. It does not replace an official record, court order, or legal advice. The Alabama Open Records Act, Ala. Code § 36-12-40, covers public writings subject to exceptions, and court-record access is also governed by the Alabama Rules on Privacy and Confidentiality of Court Records effective January 1, 2025. Neither citation means every warrant record is public. Confirm important details with the court that issued the warrant and the agency assigned to serve it.
3. Not for Screening or Locating People
This resource is for understanding a warrant process and finding the proper route to check or address a matter involving yourself or a family member. Do not use the site or any linked service to investigate or target other people. You agree not to:
- Make any decision covered by the FCRA (see below)
- Use the site to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone
- Track, locate, monitor, or target another person
- Screen anyone for employment, housing, tenancy, or credit
4. Rules for Using This Site
When using the site, you agree not to:
- Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
- Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it
- Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
- Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
5. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce consumer, credit, or background reports. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offer a service for evaluating a person’s eligibility for employment, housing, insurance, or credit. Do not use information here or from a linked tool to:
- Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
- Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
- Screen potential renters or housing applicants
- Decide whether to hire or fire someone
- Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules
If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.
6. No Legal Advice
Nothing here is legal advice. The site describes Alabama warrant procedures in general terms; it cannot advise how a warrant, charge, bond, or hearing date affects a particular case. Consult a licensed Alabama attorney for legal advice.
7. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed
Content and services are offered "as is," without a promise that:
- Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate
- Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
- The site will stay up and running without interruptions
- The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
Warrant orders and service information can change, and a public list may not update at the same time as a court docket. Alabama has no identified public statewide all-warrant search, and local lists vary. A missing or older result is not an official statement of status. Check with the issuing court or the sheriff or other agency assigned to the case before relying on a listing.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
Links may lead to state and county offices, court portals, legal-help groups, or outside search providers. Those services are operated by others. We do not control their content, data practices, fees, or availability; review their terms before using them.
9. Intellectual Property
Text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Alabama Warrant Records or its content partners. Do not copy, distribute, alter, or reuse that material without written permission.
10. Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from site use, including reliance on information here or on a linked service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to protect us from claims, demands, or legal proceedings caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.
12. Governing Law
Alabama law governs these terms. A dispute related to your use of the site must be brought in a court located in Alabama.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. A change takes effect when the updated terms are posted here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if I have a warrant?
No. This private site cannot query an official warrant system. Start with the Warrant Lookup guide or use the County Directory to find the relevant court or sheriff.
Can you recall or clear a warrant for me?
No. The issuing court controls recall or other court orders. Discuss next steps with an attorney and the court, which may require an appearance, bond, or a motion to recall or quash the warrant.
Is a warrant listing on a linked tool official?
No. Outside results can be incomplete or stale. The issuing court’s docket and the serving agency’s record are the official sources for their respective information.
